Day 21 - At sea (Friday)

The boat is haunted - OK well that's what many people have agreed upon to explain the randomness of events here. The most common problem is of room keys that stop working working. One person had received 33 room keys. On the 33rd key, upon making the new key, security walked with the guy to his door, inserted the key and it didn't work. This was after they had changed the door lock out on the 25th key. Odd part is his wife's key (the original one) has never had a problem even once opening the door. Little random, explainable stories like that fill the ship.

You can tell the trip is really winding down as the temperature each day get cooler and less humid. It's set in to many aboard that things are coming to a close as the question many asked today was "do we have one more sea day then we're off?". We've seen a heck of a lot of things, almost sensory overload, during the last two weeks.. Extremely quiet today. At times myself and others were looking around asking what is there to do right now other than hit the pool.

At 6:30am we entered the Great Barrier Reef at low tide. A local harbor pilot is aboard to help navigate the channel. We made constant zigzags, mirroring the coast, in order to not hit the reef.
We've come a long way in the last two days
Making the turn now to the south and almost the end of the trip

Someone's private island within the huge reef / sandbar
Because you need your own helipad when visiting your private island

Hugging the coastline so as to stay within the reef
4pm and you can see the opening of the reef (where the surf is breaking, left). The reef is from the break all the way through to the right
Gorgeous sunset tonight

Funny show last night. Audience hypnosis.
"You're the best player in the band"
"You're a fish"
"The person next to you farted the worst smell"
"They did it again, only now it's 10x worse"
Everyone was happy in the end
